Heidi has just finished touring with founder member of Wizzard, The Move and E.L.O Dr. Roy Wood. Whilst the eccentric multi-instrumentalist is best known for hits like, 'I wish it could be Christmas every day', 'See My Baby Jive' and 'Blackberry Way, which have made him a household name, Roy's musical career has been long, fruitful and eclectic. There are few great musicians Roy hasn't collaborated with. 2017 sees Roy inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. When asked to support Roy on his Winter retrospective tour Heidi jumped at the chance. He was backed by a 7 piece band including full brass section and performed a selection of his most famous hits.

Heidi said 'I was told in the dressing room by Roy's long standing backing vocalist that I was the first female support act he'd had in the 25 years she'd worked with him. An enigmatic figure, I didn't get to chat much with Roy himself, but he did compliment me on my emerald green velvet jacket! It was amazing to play some beautiful theatres to some of the biggest crowds of my career.'

The tour encompassed the length and breadth of the country and Heidi joined the band for concerts in Bristol, Skegness, Woking and Torquay, playing to crowds of up to 1200 people. The audience response was great and Heidi hopes to join Roy again on tours in the future.
